There's just something about this episode that I dig. It's probably as close as the series comes to film noir. Lots of lovely shadows, fog, damp streets, men in trench coats running around at night, plots and counter-plots, never sure who to trust.... Then toss in the MFU element of an American schoolteacher and her group of unruly teenage charges and you've got one terrific episode.

Greetings, everyone! Sorry to use this forum, but I don't know what else to do. Has anyone heard from Angela? I sent her an email ages ago but haven't heard back. I'm afraid she may have answered but because of repeated systemic computer problems the reply may have wound up in spam and been deleted. Again, I don't know. I'm really worried about her since she's had such upheaval in her life and I just want to know she's okay. Any ideas, anyone?

I've been wanting a mood theme for ages. So now I've finally made one, and I'm sharing with anyone who wants it. =)

This marks the beginning of our Cold War Doubleheader. "The Neptune Affair" is a thrillingly taut episode where Illya is forced to return to the Soviet Union because of the crisis at hand and the toll it takes on him is apparent in his two scenes. It's Napoleon who is forced to go it alone and try to avert World War III. And he's got three days to do it in.

This was the eleventh episode aired, but the fourth episode made.
